We will be at Electrifly‑In 11–13 September 2026 at BERN AIRPORT

The prototype of the cockpit mockup ;)

Why this event

The Electrifly‑In has been running since 2017, when it became the first fly‑in in Europe dedicated to electric aircraft. This year is the tenth edition. In that time it has gone from a curiosity to the fixed point in the European calendar where the people actually building electric aeroplanes stand next to each other and compare notes.

That’s the part that’s hard to replicate. There are bigger airshows. There is no other weekend where the symposium, the eTrophy, the e‑flights and the static display put engineers, regulators, pilots and the visiting public on the same apron for three days. The BAZL will be represented. So will most of the teams whose work we’ve been reading for two years.

What it means for us

Three days of standing next to those people is worth more than another three months of reading.

It’s also where the parts of this project that need other people get moved along: suppliers, the regulator, and anyone who might want their name on the airframe. Some of those conversations have been running by e‑mail for months. They’ll go further in ten minutes at a stand.

Come and fly the cockpit

We’re bringing a Bücker Jungmann cockpit mockup wired to a flight simulator, showcasing our own LIFD avionics. This is the first time the LIFD has been in front of anyone outside the project.

Sit down. Fly it. Roll it inverted.

Tell us what’s wrong with it — we would much rather hear it from you in Bern. If you fly aerobatics, we especially want your hands on it and your suggestions afterwards.
